The Nintendo On is a fake video game console hoax created during the early days before the release of the Wii (Codename: Revolution). The video was created by Spanish video game designer, Pablo Belmonte.
The Youtube Video[]
The Nintendo On was shown as being a Virtual Reality system, over 10 years before the first mass-produced Virtual Reality headsets. The video also showed many "skins" for the Nintendo On, such as different colors and even Mario characters like Boo and Bomb-Omb. The video showed future titles for the Mario and Metroid series. There was an extended version of the video that showed Metal Gear Solid and WarioWare games for the fake console, but weren't there in the final video because Pablo Belmonte's hard drive crashed during production, erasing the video files.
